An important aspect to a quality ice rink over time is how well the ice sheets fit together. Many rinks suffer from expansion and contraction issues that can lead to safety concerns and excessive maintenance. Our state of the art materials have greatly reduced this problem and our “True Lock” connecting system ensures your ice sheets will always fit together properly.
Hand Made Quality
Every ice sheet is manufactured in-house one at a time. This means we can build them for custom designs and sizes to order. We use 4′ x 8′ and 4′ x 4′ ice sheets*, the largest size that is commonly used in the industry. This means far fewer seams and a smoother skating surface. We will also machine your surface to your finished required size at no extra charge, and there are no extra borders to purchase to complete your surface. We can also provide you with custom designed rink boards to surround your ice rink.
No Additives Required
To skate on some artificial ice sheets you are asked to add liquid silicone enhancers to the ice surface at all times. Not with ours. You can use liquid enhancers to increase the glide if you like but it isn’t required. Without any additives or enhancers our ice requires about 10-15% more effort to skate than typical natural ice making it an excellent training surface.
No Buckling or Gap Issues
Beware of products on the market that are held together by a series of interlocking splines. They can lead to expansion and contraction issues that will occur as a result of temperature changes which can cause buckling or gaps in your artificial ice sheets. With our precision machined synthetic ice we never have this issue. Our ice sheets fit together time and time again no matter how many times you may re-configure your rink. You will be skating or training on your artificial ice rink longer and with no worries or down time.
