Shipping Policies

All of our synthetic ice or artificial ice products are shipped FOB our dock, we will retrieve the lowest cost for shipping for you and advise of such prior to shipment.

For each individual order, we select a shipping method that will provide both value and speedy delivery. Standard shipping methods include the United States Postal Service, Canada Post, Purolator and LTL Carriers. Please note that customers outside Canada shall be responsible for the payment of any import taxes, duties, tariffs or similar charges which may be imposed over and above ordinary shipping charges. The customer also has the right to contract their own mode of shipping and/or carrier. The shipping cost will be determined and approved by Synthetic Ice Solutions and the customer before payment for the sale is completed.

* All products are shipped flat on a 4′ x 4′ skid for ease in product transportation. An exception is if larger products are order such as 4′ x 8′ rink boards, which can increase shipping charges due to the larger dimensions.

* All synthetic ice panels are securely strapped and card boarded in assisting to prevent damage while in transit.

* Weights and number of packages can vary due to your artificial ice surface & quantities of the synthetic ice required.

Insurance

It is recommended to insure your synthetic ice purchase from damage in transit, this is considered an extra cost, and will be done only at the specific request of the customer.

Shipping Limitations

When an order is placed, it will be shipping to an address designated by the purchaser as long as that shipping address is compliant with the shipping restrictions contained on this website. All purchases from this website are made pursuant to a shipment contract. As a result, risk of loss and title for items purchased from this website pass to you upon delivery of the items to the carrier. You are responsible for filing any claims with carriers for damaged and/or lost shipments.
